Archtop
LaxagueGeneral Specs:
It is a multi-scale archtop with a very particular structural design reinforced with carbon fiber, which allows it to be rocked hard and never lose mechanical stability. It has a carved cypress and timbo top, guayubira and cedar back and sides, laminated guayubira and lapacho neck; more guayubira, ebony, bronze, poplar, white wood and metal. All recovered from the trash. Hardware and knobs made in the workshop, except for the tuners that are #schaller with a window to see the mechanism. And hence the whole issue of the windows in the body. Humbucker microphones of our own manufacture, circuit of four megaconfigurable pushpull pots and a few things so that it doesn’t feedback.
Finish Specs:
The natural wood recovered from the garbage was worked on, taking it to its original state to, from there, make the wear or relic. Subsequently, an oxidation process was carried out with acetic acid and iron filings, interspersed with layers of nitro lacquer. Wax finish: flax oil, olive oil, beeswax and carnauba wax.
